‘Caged Lion’ Astrup Ready to Roar
Not being able to play competitive badminton is something Kim Astrup despises.

With the COVID-19 global pandemic tearing the 2020 international sporting calendar apart, the Danish men’s doubles star has been concentrating on training since returning from a lockdown after the YONEX All England Open 2020 came to a close late March.
Not that the 28-year-old has enjoyed the period at home – Astrup is at his best when travelling the globe taking on the best badminton players with his partner Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.
Next week, he will have the opportunity to do just that at the DANISA Denmark Open 2020.
