The surging confidence of Turkey’s Neslihan Yigit was apparent as she cruised through her opening rounds at the DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters 2021. Yigit’s Masters campaign was eventually halted by long-standing nemesis Pusarla V. Sindhu 21-13 21-10 in the quarterfinals.
Yigit has faced the two-time Olympic medallist three times this year but couldn't find a way through to win.
"She has a lot of power and speed," admitted the Turk. "I will keep working hard and do my best next time. I'm really sad to have lost today."
