Anders Antonsen and Lee Cheuk Yiu haven’t faced off in nearly two and a half years; the third-seeded Dane will take on the hard-hitter from Hong Kong China at the top of the men’s singles draw at the Indonesia Open 2024 starting tomorrow.

Lee was originally drawn to face top seed Viktor Axelsen, but the Dane withdrew due to injury. Axelsen’s withdrawal saw his compatriot and No.4 seed Antonsen take his place at the top of the draw according to BWF World Tour Regulations 6.4.5.3.1.

The reshuffling of the men’s singles draw saw world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn due to face Loh Kean Yew, and Lee Zii Jia slated to play Ng Ka Long Angus. Vitidsarn and Loh have had an engaging rivalry, with four of their five matches going the distance.
