With their graceful teamwork, effortless strokes and unmatched achievements, the pair, who announced their retirement last year, will conclude an almighty partnership that redefined men's doubles badminton.
The pair are three-time world champions (2013, 2015, 2019) together, two-time All England winners (2014, 2019) and former world No.1s. The home heroes, set to be backed by a strong Istora crowd, will take on Chien-Wei Chiang/Hsuan-Yi Wu of Chinese Taipei in the first round.
Meanwhile, Ahsan/Setiawan's compatriot Anthony Sinisuka Ginting has withdrawn due to injury joining last week's India Open runner-up Lee Cheuk Yiu in skipping the Indonesia Masters.
